Description
Specials
Ko Ou Ken + A or C
Ko Hou + A or C
Hi En Shippuu Kyaku + B or D
Zan Retsu Ken + A or C This move has an auto-guard property(just right before he starts punching).
Ko Hou Senpuu Ken + A or C
Mouko Raijin Setsu + B or D This move is an overhead.
DM/SDM
Haou Shou Ko Ken + A or C
Ryu Ko Ranbu + A or C
Tenchi Ha Ou Ken X 2 + A or C Normally this move only takes about 15% damage. But if you can counter your opponent's move with this(A 'Counter' message will be seen), then the DM version will take 60% and the SDM version takes around 70-80% damage! eg. Try to counter Shingo's Shingo Kick at a distance!
Other Specials
Hyouchuu Wari + A This move is an overhead.
Gedan Uke + B This is the move where he sort of slides forward and "punches" downwards. Basically this is not an attacking move but instead it is a blocking move -- it blocks all low
attack(should be correct). It can parry any attacks aimed towards Ryo's legs(eg. Terry's  + D move). Other than that, there's nothing more to it except that when you are lucky enough to block a move with that, you can counter with any of those fast moves that Ryo has like his Ko Hou.
Joudan Uke + B This is the move where he slides forward and sort of elbows upwards. This move blocks upwards and then you can do a counter after that. It blocks against any standing attacks  and it can be used against regular or special moves(except projectiles) which may hit squarely on Ryo's forehead/face. Timing is critical though.
Throws
Tani Otoshi When near,  or  + C
Tomoe Nage When near, or  + D

Striker Moves

Ryo performs his air fireball. Looks like the one by selecting the special version of Ryo in KOF 98. Although this move does very little damage, this move is very good at keeping opponents away. The fireball travels the entire length of the screen from the top of your screen to the botton of the other side at about a 45-degree angle. This is great because you can counter the opponent if they try anything. If they are running at you it will hit them. If they are attacking you, it will also hit them. If they are jumping at you, it will still hit them.

If your opponent is hit by Ryo while in the corner, you can actually follow up with K's Chain Driver or King's Illusion Dance DM.

Combos

- Standing C followed by Ko Ou Ken( + A or C)[From Axl]

- Must be VERY FAST to do this: Press C + D and IMMEDIATELY do his Zan Retsu Ken( + A or C) and it will hit! Will only work in the corner though...[From Theo Papulis]

+ B or  + B and when the move blocks the opponent's punch or kick then quickly do Tenchi Ha Ou Ken( X 2 + A or C)[From Eddie Man]

- Jump D + B thrice(or twice) followed by a Standing A and finish with his Hi En Shippu Kyaku( + B) [From SAUL]

- A combo using Robert as your striker:[From KENSOU]

(1) Activate striker Robert

(2) When robert starts hitting your opponent, do a jumping C followed by a Standing C

(3) Before Robert hits the opponent into the air, do your Haou Shou Ko Ken( + A or C).

- During Dodge(press A + B), press A and then quickly press  + A followed by  + B[From Jimmy]

Counter Mode Combos

- Do his Ko Hou Shippuu Ken( + C) and cancel it into Tenchi Ha Ou Ken( X 2 + A or C). The "C" version of Ko Hou Senpuu Ken has 2 hit. So connect Tenchi Ha Ou Ken on the 1st hit of Ko Hou Senpuu Ken.[From Lewis Poon]

- Jump D, Standing C followed by a Ko Ou Ken( + A or C) and do  + A or C again and it will cancel into his Tenchi Ha Ou Ken( X 2 + A or C)[From ChaosKid]

- Jump D + C, Ko Hou(+ C)(1 hit) and cancel into his Tenchi Ha Ou Ken( X 2 + A)[From LangZi]

- Something about Ryo's moves that can be cancelled in Counter Mode:[From Schneider Mura]
1- He can cancel his Ko Ou Ken( + A or C);
2- He can cancel his heavy Ko Hou( + A or C) on the first hit;
3- He can cancel his Ko Hou Senpuu Ken( + A or C).
